MOST Houdini movies are all stuck in time in the 1920's, this one set about 1 year before his death in 1925, on his tour of Scotland, where Houdini (Guy Pearce) meets up with the lovely Catherine Zeta-Jones, check out the trailer below.

Magician Adam Steinfeld and writer Al Blanchard have authored Houdini Lives! The fanciful tale weaves around The Great Stanford, a cocky young magician out to make a name for himself. Set in 1966, Stanford discovers that Houdini faked his own death forty years earlier and has been living a very different life in Miami Beach ever since. Story is scattered over many genres, including mystery, comedy, romance, politics, the supernatural, and magic, with numerous cameo appearances by the biggest names in mid-'60s show biz.
